I’m an innovative online English language instructor, instructional designer, and teacher trainer with international experience spanning four continents. My teaching practice is built on the intersection of meaningful communication and purposeful technology use.
Learning happens when students feel seen, supported, and challenged — technology is just the best lever we have to make that happen at scale.
Currently teaching ESL at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA, I bring the same energy to community college students that I brought to university prep students in Türkiye and high school EFL students in Ethiopia and Japan.
My graduate research at Cal State Sacramento (MA TESOL, 4.0 GPA) focused on assessment design in low-resource EFL contexts — work I developed during my Peace Corps service in Mekele, Ethiopia.
